Okay. I made it out alive, surprisingly. This morning (as you can tell) I was very nervous. I walked to my bus stop a while away with my friend and waited for the bus for like 10 minutes. Bus came. I got even more nervous. Here's how my hour-long bus ride went:
Sat with my only friend that was from Middle School (the friend I walked with), and we didn't talk much because the bus was sooo... quiet. Lol. And so I was sitting there, trying to hide. And then this Upperclassmen (I think) sat across from me and after a few minutes, he looked at me and I was all like DON'T TALK TO ME DONT TALK TO ME in my head... and he was all like, "Are you two Freshmen?" and I just like nodded my head. And he was like, "Cool! Bus high five!" and he held his hand up... waiting... I was stalling because someone giggled. Then I finally like gave him a high five. It wasn't that long though. So. Yeah. Um. Endured the bus ride. Got out and walked into the building and started freaking out. It looked bigger than before.... So, went downstairs to my locker, and I got pushed, already. Bent down to open my locker, tried like four times, and realized it wasn't my locker. Moved over to MY locker and opened it in one try. >u< Tried to find my homeroom... epically failed. Ran into my Sophomore buddy and she led me there. Walked in, found my seat. And it was supah quiet. Again. Umm... went over packets and everything. MOVING ON. Walked all the way upstairs to American Government. Boooooooring. Then he mentioned introductions.
I froze.
And hyperventilated.
But when it came to my turn, I took a deep breath, and calmly introduced myself to the whole class.... Glad I had that over with. More blahblah's. Went back all the way downstairs for my FOT (Foundations of Technology (Printing & Graphic Communications)) and all we basically did was make name art on Illustrator CS4. That was fun. I was the only one to finish, and I was having trouble logging in on the computer. XD Umm... went back to the main floor, walked to English I. This is when things started getting better. My teacher was hilarious, everyone loves her sense of humour. X3 Oh and something happened there with my introductions that I'll have to tell a specific someone because it involves THEM. XD And I did this subconciously... like, without thinking. Anyway. We went to lunch for 30 minutes and here's when I almost cried... XD I'm such a baby, I know. But, I got my lunch and was completely clueless. I walked around, looking for a table to sit at, but saw people walking out of the café. So, I took a risk and followed them. I never knew this, but you can eat in the hallways at my school (there's a specified area) and when I found an empty bench I praised the Lord. Ate my food got back to class finished it up.... And headed off to the unexplored. Unmapped Algebra II class, and surprisingly, I found this class with maximum ease, yet I can't find MAPPED classes with my map. Ummm I'd have to say this was my fav class, because there's a variety of grade level peoples, and they're all friendly. So we did our introductions, and I was too shy so I stayed in my seat and had other people come to me. I decided to randomly talk to the people at my table. Didn't know both of 'em were freshmen. XD They looked older... and people that would make fun of me, but everyone was actually pretty nice. So... I couldn't wait until I got home because I was ready to hide in my room and never come out. So yeah... it was very scary. But i survived... hi.

I only got, like, 4 hours of sleep. Finally fell asleep around 12, woke at 12:30, couldn't get back to sleep 'til about 2. Then woke up a couple minutes ago, and when Mandy lives on nearly zero sleep (unless it was because of sugar) SHE'S NOT VERY HAPPY. D:< Someone kill me now, please. I'm really... really nervous.... *Sigh.* I wanna cry... well... I'll be leaving in a few minutes and then come back to write how terrible my first day was, if I make ot out alive.

Alright, so I went to Orientation for High School today.

I’M FRICKEN’ EVEN MORE SCARED NOW. I was, like, totally shaking.... After Orientation, I hated my schedule. And with Orientation, I realized how huge my school was.

My lockers are weird and unfair. D:
1) Freshman and such... they get half-size lockers. Or at least I do.
2) You have to pull the latch OUT instead of UP, which I'm much too used to. >.<
3) I HAVE A BOTTOM ONE. D: I hate bending down.
4) They're... yellow. ¬___¬"


Next... I think I may scan my map in to show you just how big my school is, and what I have to do.
I'm going to be so lost on the first day. And tired.

On my first day...
First, I have to be in homeroom, which I have to go down two flights of stairs for. After homeroom, I go up 4 flights of stairs to first period. Then I have to go all the way back downstairs to my homeroom which is my second period class. Then I go back up 2 flights of stairs to go to my 3rd period class. And thank God I can stay on the main floor for my 4th period class... it's just I'm going to have a hard time remembering where my 4th period class is. It wasn't located on the map, and I had to go around in circles to find it. e.e Oi.

While at my school, I got to fix minor problems on my schedule.

And then a major problem, which I'm VERY GLAD I went to Orientation to figure out....



My health class is in the wrong class. e____e I would have been so embarrassed to walk into Health and say I was there for health, when I'd be barging in on an American Government class... >///<''' went up to the office and told the principal, and he found out there was more than likely a glitch in the system. so, on the first day of school, I have to go up to the main office and find out which room it's taking place in, even though I have health on a B day. And then he congratulated me on being the first one to bring it up... XD Umm... what else?

I was tired of going up and down stairs, going around in circles... and I was really hungry, so afterwards I went to Target to pick up a few school stuff and then off to Burger King, which I see why they're going out of business in a city near me... =.= They're so hard-headed.
And dude, this is crazy... what i mean by going out of business: I was order number EIGHT and it was friggen 3 PM O.o and they made this weird deal where on specific days you can get two meals for 4$.

Umm... yeah, very frightened for my first day of school. :/ i'll post another entry two days from now saying how traumatized i am... XD dude, i'm so tired i really don't care about my literacy and i'm usually really buugged about that. e.e Umm... i'll go scan my map in and post it in my scraps. time to go do the features. XD
